What is the total expense for a non-member to join NAVAC and apply for board certification?

• If a person is applying for BCC and becoming a new NAVAC Member at the same time, that person’s total fee would be $130.00.
  a. $30.00 is the fee for joining NAVAC which would automatically make him/her a PMC.
  b. $100.00 is the application fee for BCC.
   
• If the person is BCC’d during that first year then her/his total for the second year would be $75.00.
   
• If the person is not BCC’d until during his/her second year, her/his total for the second year would be
  $30.00, and for her/his third year (the year after being BCC’d) the total would be at the BCC rate -
  $75.00.
   
• If he/she has also applied for Certification In a Specialty at the same time as Membership in NAVAC and the BCC, then the total would be $180.00: $30.00 being the membership fee for joining NAVAC; $100.00 is the application fee for the BCC.; and $50.00 is the application fee for the Competency In.
   
• If the person is BCC’d during that first year but not granted the Competency In until his/her second year, then her/his total for the second year would be
  $75.00.
